Altitude & Area

At an elevation of 1700 meters, our vineyard benefits from the pristine mountain air and the gentle caress of sunlight, nurturing the grapes to perfection. With a total area of 100 hectares, our vineyard is a testament to our commitment to quality and sustainability.

Climate

Bathed in an average annual rainfall of 1000 mm, our vineyard experiences the rhythm of the seasons with grace and poise. The cold winters bring a blanket of snow, while the summers offer respite with cool breezes and gentle sunshine. This harmonious balance of climate elements shapes the character of our grapes, resulting in wines of remarkable balance and finesse.

Soil Composition

Our vineyard's soil composition is characterized by clay and limestone, imparting unique mineral qualities to the grapes. This distinctive terroir lends a sense of place to our wines, reflecting the rugged beauty of the mountains and the ancient history embedded in the land.

Viticulture Practices

At Dionisos Distillery, we believe in nurturing the land with care and respect. That's why we refrain from using pesticides and herbicides, opting instead for sustainable farming practices that prioritize the health of the ecosystem. Our grapes are grown almost organically, allowing the true expression of the terroir to shine through in every glass.

Yeild & Density

With a yield of over 3500 tons per hectare, Dionisos Distillery's vineyard boasts a remarkable abundance of grapes. The density of planting, at 6000 vines per hectare, ensures optimal fruit development and vine health, resulting in wines of unparalleled depth and complexity.

Harvest & Beyond

The culmination of our viticultural efforts comes to fruition during the months of September and October, when the grapes reach optimal ripeness and flavor. Harvested by hand with meticulous attention to detail, the grapes embark on a journey of transformation, guided by the skilled hands of our winemakers.
